Currently, on the TikTok platform, there is an individual named Abdullah Hashem, operating under the name “TheAhmadiReligionofPeace.” Abdullah Hashem is spreading false and un-Islamic teachings by presenting himself as the true Mahdi. He has established his movement as the “Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light” (AROPL) and is attempting to influence the Ummah with a misguided understanding of Islam. It is crucial to stay away from such false teachings in order to remain on the right path.
Deviations from True Islam:
1. Claiming to Be the Mahdi: Abdullah Hashem claims to be the true Mahdi. Such self-declarations contradict Islamic teachings. The real Mahdi will be from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and will be chosen by Allah. The true Mahdi will not declare himself but will be recognized by the Ummah.
2. Use of Images and Statues: One of Abdullah Hashem’s greatest deviations is allowing the use of images and statues in his movement. In Islam, especially the portrayal or making of statues of sacred figures is forbidden. These representations can lead to shirk (associating partners with Allah). Abdullah Hashem’s association with the use of images and statues contradicts the core principles of Islam. In Islam, only Allah is worshipped, and there should be no worship or veneration of images or statues of living beings.
3. Spreading Teachings Contrary to Islam: Abdullah Hashem is spreading content that does not align with the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). These incorrect interpretations and claims create doubt in the hearts of believers and distance them from true Islam. Particularly, his claims regarding the role of the Mahdi contradict traditional Islamic views.
Important Reminders:
• True Islam is based on clear and unaltered principles derived from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Individuals who distort or misuse these teachings should be carefully examined and avoided.
• The real Mahdi, according to Islamic tradition, is the son of Imam Hasan al-Askari (PBUH) and will play a significant role on the Day of Judgment. He will not self-declare and will not emerge in a way that contradicts the principles of Islam.
Stay Away from Deceptive Individuals:
It is essential that we avoid individuals who attempt to lead us away from the true teachings of Islam. When we adhere to the correct understanding of Islam based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, Allah will guide us to the right path.
